Carsten Kratz is the senior partner and managing director of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Frankfurt. He is the spokesperson of the Boston Consulting Group’s management team for Germany and Austria.
Carsten Kratz studied industrial engineering at the TU Darmstadt and joined the Boston Consulting Group in Munich in 1990. In 2006, he joined the management team for Germany and Austria, which he has been leading since 2013. Throughout his time at BCG he has worked with clients in various fields, gaining experience of different sectors and industries, such as airlines, automotive and construction. His areas of expertise include, among others, strategy development, operational efficiency and M&A.
Furthermore, Carsten Kratz is member of the newly formed European leadership team and a member of the supervisory Board of BCG Digital Ventures, the company’s digital subsidiary.
Moreover, he is the honorary chairman of the initiative “JOBLINGE“ which aims to overcome youth employment, he is the vice president of the Senckenberg association for bio- and geoscientific research and he sits on the advisory board of Frankfurt’s soccer club.
